Getting it going
Choose a player before you search
IPTV Smarters is free and takes a plain Xtream login; iPlayTV and Smart IPTV cost a little and lay the channels out more neatly. Decide first, and give a wide berth to anything called TiviMato or Tivimax — those are not TiViMate and not worth your money.
Open the LG Content Store
Press Home, go into the LG Content Store, cross to Apps, and use the search field there.
Install what you picked
Look up IPTV Smarters Player, iPlayTV or GSE Smart IPTV and install it. Open it once so it is primed for the next step.
Put in your details
Smarters asks for Login with Xtream Codes API and then the username, password and server address. Smart IPTV instead wants the M3U delivered to the MAC address it displays, via siptv.app/mylist on a second device.
Relaunch and watch
Once it restarts, the set loads the whole line-up with its own guide. Pull up a channel to confirm the picture, and lean on the coloured remote buttons for favourites and the EPG.
When the picture plays up
Sound but no picture
A decoder mismatch, not a dead channel. Flip the player to native or hardware decoding in its settings, or take the lower-bitrate copy of the channel, which most sport feeds carry alongside the main one.
