Getting it going
Get the right build for the screen
Where you get it depends on the screen: Play Store on Android phones and TVs; a Downloader sideload on a Firestick, per that guide; the built-in store on Samsung and LG, listed as IPTV Smarters; the App Store on Apple, as IPTV Smarters Player; the developer's own site for Windows and Mac.
Choose Xtream, leave M3U
On first launch, accept the terms and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Skip the M3U route unless we tell you otherwise, because Xtream drags in the guide and the on-demand shelf on its own, where a bare playlist usually will not.
Enter the three values
Any profile label will do, then the username, password and server address complete with the http:// and the port, exactly as it arrived on WhatsApp. Tap Add User.
Wait for the guide to fill
Channels, films and the programme data download now, and the grid can want a few minutes to populate, so do not judge it in the first half-minute. Under Settings, EPG, turn on Enable EPG on live TV so it overlays while a channel plays.
Set decoding, then prove it
Settings, Player settings, choose the built-in player on hardware decoding, then bring up a channel. If a single channel stutters while the rest are fine, set that one channel to software decoding from its own menu rather than touching the global setting.
After an outage or a router reboot
When the internet drops and comes back, give the app a moment before you assume it broke — the router usually needs a minute to find its connection again. If drops are frequent on your line, a wired Ethernet run to the box rides them out far better than Wi-Fi does.
When the picture plays up
It says your account is expired
The date on the plan has come and gone; the app itself is fine. A renewal over WhatsApp brings the same credentials back within minutes, with nothing to reinstall and no settings lost.
The list is empty after signing in
Swipe down to refresh, then sign out and back in. If it is still bare, the server address is wrong somewhere, and the port is the part people miss.
It keeps closing on a Firestick
Clear its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, then relaunch. If it still quits, uninstall it and put on a fresh build — a stale APK against newer Fire OS is the usual reason.
